The transportation of reactors body  for the third power unit of Rostov  nuclear  power (Rosatom) from Saint-Petersburg to Volgodonsk was completed in the beginning of july 2013. Reactors body VVER-1 000 of 11 meter length, 5,6 meter width, 5,7 meter high  and weighing 322 tonnes was produced by Izhorskiye Zavody, part of OMZ Group. The tug «Aleksandr Obyhov» and RO-RO barge 2033 were used to ship the equipment. The reactor was loaded at Sankt-Petersberg (Jetty of Izhorskie Zavodi) by ro-ro method and discharged by shore crane at Volgodonsk

Project was done in cooperation with Infotech Baltika CJSC.

To implement the delivery, the project of lashing, securing and stowage, as well as the project of towage were developed.
